The Power of Synchronicity
Lauren Fonvielle, Writer & Lightworker
Synchronicity, much like coincidence is defined as striking occurrences of two or more events at one time.
The difference between the two, is that coincidence is perceived as happening by chance while synchronicity implies a deeper intelligence is at work.
I whole heartedly believe in synchronicity.
I believe that what you think about and focus on, be it positive or negative thoughts, will expand, and your experiences will undoubtedly reflect that. I diligently try to always look at the bright side and find the silver lining in all situations, even this deployment.
In the past 6 months I’ve taken a great interest in all things energy related. It’s as if things are coming back full circle. As a kid I loved collecting rocks, and now I’m happily building my crystal collection. Years ago I read a bunch of books on energy healing, and I recently took my first Reiki 1 training class. I also joined a medium circle, started meditating regularly, and I signed up for YTT (yoga teacher training). Talk about being busy!
After finding out that Jeremy was going to deploy I made a list of things I wanted to accomplish while he’s gone. YTT was at the top of the list. It’s something I’ve thought about doing for quite some time, but never took any action. And while the challenge of scheduling and finding sitters during class times could’ve pushed me in the other direction, I felt an inner pull to say yes, to commit.
I’m so glad I did. After the first weekend of YTT last month, I’m fully confident this is exactly where I’m supposed to be. It’s the perfect thing for me to focus on right now – time just for me to explore, learn, and reflect.
Yoga is about so much more than just exercise. It’s about quieting the mind, focusing inward and ultimately discovering parts of yourself that you may not have known were even there. And in the few short weeks since starting the training, I’ve had what I can only refer to as several aha moments.
One of these business related moments is that while I’ve organically been drawn to working with soul-centered entrepreneurs – coaches, healers, artists, and intuitives, I haven’t been marketing myself directly to them. I’ve had this fear that doing so will alienate other potential clients. But, I came to the realization, that to stay true to me, I need to shift my focus to that which brings me joy. And what brings me joy is working with people who run their business from a place of love. So, that’s exactly what I need to do.
I’m ready to shine my light, and shine it bright! Regardless of the challenges this year will bring, I’m committed to putting all my energy into having a positive attitude and to taking positive actions.
