Let’s just get right to it – YAY all the way! This week I had my kick off coaching sesh with Ali Rittenhouse, and to say that I’m uber excited about the next 6 months to a year would be a complete understatement.

Let me back it up a little bit.  Ali and I first met a little over a year ago.  We were introduced by way of Nichole – my friend, and fellow solopreneur.  I did a bunch of copywriting  and editing work for Nichole and she was so pleased that she gave me a shout out on FB that resulted in a whole lot of interest in my services.  The response was unreal, and I’m forever grateful.  It was that small act of kindness, that really lit a fire under my butt and made me realize – I CAN DO THIS. It was through that post that Ali and I started working together.

Ali is an Online Business Coach that specializes in marketing and particularly product and service launches.  From brainstorming the best way to position your offerings to helping you set up and implement your sales funnel, she does it all. Over the last year I worked with a handful of her clients as they prepared to launch their services.  I wrote and edited email copy, sales pages, squeeze pages, about pages – the whole lot of it.  It didn’t take me long to start thinking that I too needed to plan a launch. Because when you’re a solopreneur, if you’re not marketing yourself, no one else will.

First order of business on the call was to come up with two freebie offers. I’m currently working out the details of those but each will be targeted at a different audience.  One will be specific to solopreneurs who need new copy for their website (home page, about page, work with me page etc.), where the other will be focused on those who need copy for a product or services launch (sales pages, opt-in pages, webinar script, social posts etc.).  After I get those hammered out, I’ll be on to creating all associated emails, along with the opt-in page.

That’s my homework for week one! I think I’m more excited now thinking about the potential, than I ever have been before. I plan to continue to update my progress along the way, and would love to have you along for the ride!  Be sure to sign up for my email list to get notifications along the way!
